We are a broad mix of people of all ages and from all walks of life. All with different reasons for being a member. We are a local club who cater for the Barwell, Bedworth, Coventry, Nuneaton and Hinckley areas and we meet locally at the George Ward Centre, Stanley Street, Barwell, Leics LE9 8EB. Check our dates for the season on our Meeting Dates page. We meet every two weeks from September until May. Meetings start at 7.30 pm and finish at around 9.30 pm – do plan to arrive early if at all possible and be personally shown around. Barwell Cedars Speakers Club is part of the national Association of Speakers Clubs (ASC) and one of a group of clubs in The South-East Midlands area.

The South East Midlands Area comprises 4 clubs; ourselves, Leicester, Lutterworth and Market Harborough. We hold regular competitions throughout the season, which culminate in National Finals at the end of April. Barwell (Cedars) Speakers Club can help you to IMPROVE SPEAKING CONFIDENCE, whilst having lots of fun at the same time!
